Description of event:  Dogs and their owners will go through several simple obedience exercises to earn points.  The exercise will include:

• Heeling a specific pattern with the dog on the leash (maneuvers to include changes in pace; having dog sit when halted).
• Come when called;  Sit Stay; and Down Stay.
• Dogs will remain on leash at all times.  Dog and owner earn points for each successfully completed exercise or portion of exercise.
• The dog with the most points at end of competition will earn 1st place, etc.
• Emphasis is on fun for a positive experience for all. Classes will be divided according to age.  There will be separate classes for children and adults.
• Sign up registration forms will be available on the competition night.
