Description of event:  Dogs and their owners will go through several simple obedience exercises to earn points.  The exercise will include:

• Heeling a specific pattern with the dog on the leash (maneuvers to include changes in pace; having dog sit when halted).
• Come when called;  Sit Stay; and Down Stay.
• Dogs will remain on leash at all times.  Dog and owner earn points for each successfully completed exercise or portion of exercise. The dog with the most points at end of competition will earn 1st place, etc.
• Emphasis is on fun for a positive experience for all. Classes will be divided according to age.  There will be separate classes for children and adults.
• Sign up registration forms will be available on the competition night.
