Photo Assignment: Twilight and Night at the Fair
Date & Time: Tuesday August 25    Judging: 9:00 p.m.
Registration and Instructions: 6:00-6:30 p.m.  Photo Shoot: 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Who: Pre-registration is recommended. Enter where the Fair Photography Contest is taking entries.  Space is limited to the first 25 exhibitors who register. Walk ups the day of the contest will be accepted if empty spaces are available with fee payable at that time.

Processing Fee: $5 for each exhibitor   Limit: One photo per exhibitor

Where: Check in at Jordan House in Fiddler’s Grove

What: Exhibitors will bring their digital cameras to the Fair and check-in.  At that time the theme of the shoot will be announced and instructions given.  After the time allotted (2 hours), participants will return to check-in and download 1 image of their choice from their camera memory card.  NO DIGITAL ALTERATIONS OR CROPPING! Exhibitors will create in camera (which includes any in camera adjustment option) the image to be submitted.

NOTE: NO TRIPODS will be allowed.  Tripods can be a trip hazard so we will not permit their use for this contest.  Monopods are allowed.

Prizes: Ribbons awarded to the first through third place.

Note: Exhibitors must give permission to the Wilson County Fair to reproduce their image in any Fair publications, printed materials or merchandise without additional compensation.

Judging: All images must be turned in by 8:30. Winners announced after judging.

The exhibitor agrees to defend, indemnify and hold harmless the Fair, the county and the State of Tennessee from and against any liability, claim, loss or expense (including reasonable attorney’s fees) arising out of any injury or damage which is caused by, arises from or is in any way connected with participation in this program or event, excepting only that caused by the sole active negligence of the Fair.  The Fair management shall not be responsible for accidents or losses that may occur to any of the exhibitors or exhibits at the Fair.  The exhibitor (or parent or guardian of a minor) is responsible for any injury or damage resulting from the exhibitor’s participation in the program or event.  This includes any injury to others or to the exhibitor or to the exhibitor’s property.  Exhibitors agree to allow the Wilson County Fair to display their work to promote the Exhibition of Photography for the remainder of the Fair.  I acknowledge that I enter at my own risk and that these entries do not violate copyright or trademark laws.  I certify that I have read the statement listed above.  I agree to give permission to the Wilson County Fair to reproduce submitted image in any Fair publications, printed materials, or merchandise without additional compensation.
