AMATEUR WINE SHOW

Exhibits: Town Hall Log Cabin across from the Veterans Memorial Building, Fiddlers Grove.
Premiums:
Best of Show - $12
1st - $12; 2nd - $10; 3rd - $5
Entries must be entered between 1:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. Thursday, August 12, 2010. Premiums will be paid and exhibits removed on Sunday, August 22, 2010, from 1:00 -3:00 p.m.
RULES
- This is an amateur contest. No entrant shall be involved in any way with commercial winemaking or use the facilities of commercial wineries, other than obtaining grapes, juice, or concentrates.
- It is requested that each sample of wine entered be labeled stating the name of the contestant and other information such as varietal composition, year of harvest, sweet, dry, etc.
- Each entry must be submitted in either 2 - 350 ml, 2 - 500 ml or 1 - 750 ml bottles with corks.
- “Dry” is defined as not more than 2% residual sugar.
- Entries will be judged in a blind testing Friday, August 13, 2010.
